About the role:
The Global Business Development Associate Director engages with potential, new and existing clients to create, execute and close sales opportunities against annual revenue budgets. This is a high-profile role requires an outstanding candidate who will use their Medical Services industry knowledge to successfully develop their market with the opportunity to be creative and innovative as we explore new markets. Primary Responsibilities:
- Engaging new and existing clients to create, execute and close sales opportunities
- Selling medical services into a variety of sectors including oil and gas, marine and mining industries, government projects and relief agencies
- Mapping out key account plans to upsell into current accounts
- Establishing a pipeline of new client prospects with a “hunter” mentality
- Negotiating with clients
- Working closely with the bid and operations teams to ensure exceptional client delivery

Required Qualifications:
- Successful track record within a B2B sales environment
- Previous experience selling medical services
- Demonstrable knowledge of key sales theories (e.g. SPIN, Miller-Heinmann, Mercuri)
- Relevant tertiary educational degree or diploma
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- ‘’Hunter” mentality in developing new clients with well-developed negotiation skills
Assets:
- Proven track record of profitable sales growth
- A strong network within the oil & gas, marine & mining, government projects or relief agency industries
- Fluency in English, with a second language (preferred not essential)
