Summary:

BMS IT/Digital is driving a broad scale transformation to unleash the power of technology within our company. ServiceNow, which is the backbone for IT and many essential business processes across BMS, offers an immense opportunity for us to simplify processes across the organization and deliver upon our objective of optimizing end user productivity. We are looking for a proven senior leader who can drive end-to-end accountability across the ServiceNow platform and who can imagine and realize the art of the possible to deliver an enhanced experience in alignment with IT’s transformation objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Evolve and lead the overall strategy and roadmap for ServiceNow including driving simplification and optimization of the platform

  • Responsible for the overall orchestration and management of the platform

  • Ensure the platform meets the needs of the consumers and end users and is aligned with business objectives

  • Lead a diverse, cross-functional team of professionals (e.g., technical engineer, process specialists) responsible for platform configurations, customizations (where appropriate), administration, process management and governance

  • Evolve the demand, governance, and stakeholder engagement processes considering ways to balance the need for speed and demand on resources

  • Determine the resource mix and workforce strategy to support platform evolution

  • Work with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions – for example by hosting simplification and regular focus group feedback sessions and using stakeholder inputs to drive optimization and simplification objectives

  • Oversee the development and deployment of new features and functionality – ensure end users have appropriate visibility and input (e.g., testing plans)

  • Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful adoption and integration of new tools and processes; Develop and run education and trainings to ensure platform users can maximize the use of the technology

  • Manage the platform's security and compliance requirements

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for platform users

  • Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow platform updates and new features

  • Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships

  • Provide regular reports to senior management on the roadmap and progress against simplification goals

Skills / Experiences:

  • Senior leader with 10+ years of experience in leading business transformations, management of large-scale technology platforms, and/or orchestrating technology integrations

  • 5+ years of ServiceNow experience

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams

  • Experience working with managed service providers and global teams

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organization; generate excitement, adoption and support for the platform; and build strong working relationships with key stakeholders

  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices

  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills
