Role Purpose

Responsible for delivering precise, timely, and accurate laboratory results.

Responsibilities

Responsible for performing specimen preparation, staining and screening of specimens submitted for cytological examination.Screens accurately GYN and non-GYN cytology samples and may assist with fine needle aspirations on/off campus.Performs quality controls for all equipment and troubleshoots malfunctioning instrumentation as necessary. Maintains staining rows and records daily Quality Control of stains and technical quality of cytology preparations.
