This position is responsible for Optum Labs project/program management functions including activities performed by BSL. This is a hands-on individual contributor role.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects/Initiatives: Collaborate with different organizational functions/ teams to define, prioritize, develop, execute, and measure/report for multiple initiatives. (Some of the initial key initiatives for this position are: (a) Implement new joiner orientation program (b) Institutionalize workshops - Leadership Principles, Hire the best, etc workshops for new joiners (c) streamline Internal communications)
  • Streamline and proactively manage the onboarding process: Coordinate with Human Capital, Talent Acquisition, work-force management, and IT team on IT assets/VDI/Shipment of assets, IT and building access, meet & greet, seats, set up PPMO, seek and document feedback, continuously improve the process etc. for new joiners
  • Financial planning, Forecast, and Budgeting: Work with senior leaders and finance team to develop the budget forecast and track/ report plan vs actual; proactively identify issues/risks and develop mitigation plans. Proactively manage seating (capacity planning) and asset forecast
  • Management Reporting: consolidate, analyze, and provide insightful reporting on hiring, onboarding, workshop attendance, attrition, utilization, invoice reconciliation (Internal and vendor) etc. Develop measurement of success and report metrics & action items at regular intervals
  • Plan & coordinate team activities across multiple OL teams - town halls, team events, R&R, workshops, knowledge sharing sessions, etc. Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders for scheduling interviews and meetings.
  • Collaborate and coordinate on organizational initiative like Hackathon, D&I events, Meet-ups, Panel discussion (both internal and external) etc.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to plan and manage visit agenda and logistics for meetings, events, project reviews etc. for Optum Labs leadership visits
