An Enterprise Access Management Sr Manager Info Security is responsible for leading the access provisioning integration and support teams within the Enterprise Information Security (EIS) organization. This highly motivated individual will proactively partner with leaders across UnitedHealth Group to ensure our corporate Access Provisioning and Governance requirements are met through utilization of EIS standards, tools and processes in alignment with industry standards and regulatory obligations. The selected candidate will be leading the access provisioning integration and support teams as well as setting the strategy for integrating and supporting corporate on-prem and Cloud (Azure & AWS) application, server, database, and directory access provisioning with our enterprise solutions. This role will be responsible for promoting automated solutions and consulting organizational leaders on their access management provisioning needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Senior Team Lead and a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for application security access provisioning solutions
  • Work with Business as well as IT teams to gather information necessary to set the strategy for access provisioning and influence adoption of our centralized access management provisioning and governing solutions across the organization and Acquired Entities (A/Es)
  • Act in a strategic capacity as the most senior technical expert for all Identity & Access Management (IAM) technologies, tools and processes across the organization for both on-prem and cloud-based solutions
  • Assist in defining and executing the Cloud IAM strategy with considerations for both legacy and net-new technologies
  • Influence organizational change through the development and adoption of access management solutions based on industry best practices
  • Develop and direct IAM teams in investigation and resolution of complex privacy, security, and access management problems
  • As a primary stakeholder, provide input and direction to the Enterprise Access Management roadmap
  • Align with Privileged Access and Identity Management (PAM/PIM) activities
  • Participate in a management on-call support on a rotational basis
  • Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance of managers and/or senior level professional staff
  • Impact of work is most often at the operational or local business unit or market level

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of management experience with a span of control 5+ employees
  • 4+ years of IAM access provisioning and governance experience
  • 2+ years of IAM experience with provisioning and governing tools such as SailPoint’s IdentityIQ (IIQ), Oracle Identity Manager (OIM), CA Identity Manager, or equivalent tool experience
  • Experience with Cloud IAM within one or more cloud service providers (Azure, AwS, and/or Google)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerShell, Graph API, and other CLI tools to support management of AAD
  • Project Management experience
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Visio
  • Ability to host in-person as well as teleconference meetings accounting for persons in multiple time zones and geographical locations
  • Excellent verbal as well as written executive communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with critical thinking abilities

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
