If you are located in Eden Prairie, MN or San Antonio TX, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as well as work in the office as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and Support IT Business Continuity Management Plan and Disaster Recovery Plans for OptumCare Central Region
  • Manage and continuously improve continuity management and disaster recovery exercise procedures
  • Manage and facilitate annual internal audits like SOC, External Customer requests and Payor Audits.
  • Coordinate annual Disaster Recovery exercises with technical IT teams
  • Coordinate with clinical and business operations business continuity plan leads
  • Proactively identify changing regulatory requirements and appropriately adjust the scope of the audit compliance program to accommodate these changes
  • Lead and facilitate gathering of IT artifacts for internal and external audits responses and compliance requirements
  • Ensure maintenance and execution of required testing and remediation activities leading to successful IT audits/certification(s)

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in ITSM and ITIL management in IT Continuity Management, Compliance and Risk Management
  • 3+ years working with IT and Business teams to develop and manage Business or IT Continuity Plan
  • Foundational healthcare, clinical, operational, financial, or commercial experience able to translate regulatory and customer requirements into IT deliverables
  • Ability to document work products in a standard operating procedures and end user knowledge documentation
  • Understand Project Management concepts
  • Understand and advise UHG security policies and standards to business and IT teams
