The successful candidate has a proven track record in Finance, has demonstrated strong leadership, project management and analytical skills as well as ability to work well with and influence all levels of management. The candidate must demonstrate broad financial and business decision making abilities and be viewed as a partner with internal and external clients. Key responsibilities include:

Act as key treasury liaison to all International markets:

o Understand legal entities financial statements, key drivers of cash flows and forex exposure, anticipate risks and recommend actions.

o Support International Treasury team to recommend and implement strategies to address international markets’ cash needs as well as strategies to repatriate cash to the US.

o Work with the markets to understand statutory accounts and identify opportunities to maximize dividends repatriation to the US.

o Secure alignment with Controller’s, Corporate Taxes, Legal, BFS, Cash Management and Capital Markets on all planned transactions.

Monitor, analyze and reconcile monthly cash, intercompany and third party loans, provide insights on key drivers, anticipate trends and risks and recommend mitigating actions.

Utilize Hyperion and BI systems to obtain and analyze information to assist with legal entity reviews, adequacy of local cash balances and other ad hoc analysis.

Monitor outstanding third party debt and available facilities and assist in opening or closing facilities with the banks as necessary.

Support ad hoc projects across Treasury.

Requirements:

The successful candidate must have an undergraduate degree with minimum six years of business/finance experience.

Experience in Public Accounting and internal controls are a plus. High level of accuracy and attention to details required.

Must be able to quickly learn and understand complex issues, tax implications and legal entity structure.

The ability to coordinate and collaborate and to foster strong working relationships amongst the various individuals (of all levels) within these departments is critical.

Finally, the position involves significant work with all groups within the Treasury function, and with BMS colleagues around the world.

Flexibility and sensitivity to cultural and cross functional issues is vital.
