PD&C provides professional support for system-wide comprehensive strategic facility plans for the various campuses within BJC. Providing integrated design planning the group brings process excellence and standardization in planning including a reliable estimating, scheduling and cost forecasting system. They serve as educators for their customers bringing strong resources to the system, and reviewing all efforts with an eye towards environmental impact. The department provides the necessary selection, contracting, supervision, management and leadership of system-wide program management services for capital design and construction projects. They are accountable for developing, implementing and maintaining the policies, procedures and systems supporting capital projects executed to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction and increase the productivity and financial results of all BJC facilities. The department also provides leadership and technical direction in the development of program control, benchmarking and measurement standards that meet the demands of the strategic needs of BJC HealthCare

Role Purpose

Manages multiple or large projects including subprojects and project teams in order to achieve engagement goals and reach successful business outcomes.? Project assignments, team size and duration will vary and can be large in scope, complexity and strategic alignment.Performs and manages tasks and team members related to:- Project scoping, planning, execution, analysis and tracking- Change management- Team facilitation- Risk/issue identification and mitigation- Stakeholder tollgates/reports- Conducts training in project management consistent with PMI and PMBOK
