Spring Harbor Hospital, a division of Maine Behavioral Healthcare, is seeking Registered Nurses and Psychiatric Technicians to support our new Behavioral Health Adult ICU team at Spring Harbor Hospital in Westbrook. The new psychiatric unit, being referred to as a “Psychiatric Adult ICU” or “Behavioral Health ICU,” is a 6 bed adult unit that will serve the most acutely ill providing a low stimulus environments focusing on safety and symptom stabilization so the patient may safely transition the step down to another adult unit.

Registered Nurse Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.

  • Licensed as a registered professional nurse by the Maine State Board of Nursing.

  • At least 1 year of psych/behavioral health experience.


Psych Tech Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Social Services preferred.

  • 1 year of related behavioral health or related experience.
