This position is full time (40 hours per week), Monday-Friday. Employees are required to have the flexibility during normal business hours (8:00am-5:00pm). It may be necessary, given the business needs, to work occasional overtime.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Makes outgoing calls to schedule patients for annual and routine office visits or follow up visits as requested by provider
  • Maximizes productive work time with a minimum expected call volume of 45 outgoing calls per day
  • Takes incoming calls or in house transfer calls for patient scheduling as directed
  • Familiarizes self with the daily appointment availability and works to fill the schedule
  • Accesses and works within the electronic scheduling platform
  • Makes accurate and complete notes within the scheduling platform
  • Accesses and navigates the electronic medical record
  • Collects complete and accurate patient demographics and insurance information and documents appropriately
  • Navigates various internal and external applications to verify insurance eligibility
  • Communicates with and develops rapport with patients where appropriate
  • Provides clinic and provider information as needed
  • Work side-by-side with providers and other clinic staff
  • Problem solve and resolve client issues
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure patient satisfaction
  • Be a source of information regarding GreenField Health resources, providers and promotions
  • Attends all team meetings and is an active participant
  • Attends and participates in the daily huddle
  • Participates in monthly reporting requirements process by collecting organizing and reporting data
  • Maintains safe, secure and health work environments by following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
  • Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential
  • Enhances health care practice reputation by taking ownership, showing flexibility by accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job performance

  • Any other tasks or projects as assigned by supervisor or manager

Required Qualifications:

  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years professional experience in customer service
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements.
