The New West Clinics has a high patient volume, on average we check in approximately 80-100 patients per day. We take approximately 200-300 phone calls. Front desk oversees making sure administrative updates are made, forms are updated, scanning is done, eligibility is run, collecting
Co-pays and balances.

*HOURS: 8:00am – 5:00pm MONDAY – FRIDAY, NO WEEKENDS, NO MAJOR HOLIDAYS*

Primary Responsibilities:

  • At the current clinic location, we will have 5 providers and see approximately 120 patients per day. As a lead, you will be in charge of overseeing the patient coordinator team and assisting manager with day-to-day operations of the front desk. You will complete bank deposits and end of day close, office supply ordering management, monitoring schedules and placement of blocks when needed

  • The front desk team addresses approximately 200 tasks per day, including to sort approximately 30 batches of scanning into the charts per day. This team is responsible for checking in patients, updating demographic information, and running eligibility on upcoming appointments

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 5+ years of equivalent experience working in the health care field

  • 2+ years customer service experience

  • Willing to help at other clinics if needed (on occasion)

  • Willing to stay until last patient leaves

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some college or equivalent

  • 2+ years of experience with medical appointment scheduling

  • 1+ years of supervisory experience in a medical clinic/office

  • Medical background or medical related experience

  • 1+ years of experience with deposits

  • 1+years of experience with end of day check outs

  • Knowledge of Allscripts EMR

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent phone etiquette

Colorado Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $18.17 to $32.26.
