The Emergency Department at Barnes-Jewish Hospital is an opportunity to work in a dynamic, urban setting where the arrival of each new second brings with it an opportunity to serve a melting pot of a community with a wide array of medical needs. We specialize in a rapid assessment and treatment of patients when every second counts, particularly during the initial phase of acute illness and trauma. No one shift is like the other; no one minute is like the next.


Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Provides cleaning, processing and general maintenance of equipment. Maintains proper inventory of parts and supplies.

Responsibilities

Tracks, organizes and maintains supply inventory for the department and orders fresh supplies as necessary.Disassembles, decontaminates, and processes instrumentation according to manufacturer and industry standards.Ensures instrumentation is reassembled correctly and functioning properly.Picks up/delivers equipment and supplies in patient care areas.Restocks and certifies emergency kits.
