Summary:

Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC), located in the University City section of West Philadelphia, is seeking a Physician Hospitalist to provide and elevate patient care, further solidifying PPMC as a leader in healthcare. Primary duties will include examining and evaluating patients, diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries of human internal organ systems; monitoring care and documenting clinical status of patients; performing critical care medical procedures; prescribing medication and recommending dietary and activity programs; and providing regular, timely and appropriate communication with referring physicians, patients and their families.

Requirements:

· An MD/DO/foreign degree equivalent

· Completion of 3-year ACGME/AOA-approved Internal Medicine Residency Program

· BC/BE and PA license/eligibility required

Schedule: Variable shifts to include night and weekend coverage.
