Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design test plans, scenarios, maintain scripts and procedures based on business requirements
  • Perform functional, application and regression, to ensure that developed products meet design specifications and are within total quality management limits and standards
  • Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts, and clearly document defects
  • Maintain test suite on a regular basis for both manual and automation testing
  • Analyze requirements, perform ambiguity analysis to ensure that requirements meet design specifications and standards
  • Identify and investigate issues found during testing, assist Software Engineers in troubleshooting and update test cases based on discovered defects
  • Troubleshoot, debug, resolve product issues as they arise
  • Maintain documentation of test results, analyze test results and recommend resolutions
  • Collaborate with product development team to plan new features
  • Participate in planning and grooming meeting
  • Work cross functionally to resolve complex problems
  • Stay current with new technology trends
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience including a minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing
  • 5-6 years of experience in software quality automation and/or software engineering
  • 4-6 years in web or service endpoint and data integrity testing
  • Experience with code configuration management tools like GitHub
  • Understanding of QA methodologies and a strong grasp on automation testing
  • Proficiency creating and executing test scripts in Selenium, WebdriverIO or similar automation tools
  • Ability to write automated tests using a standard language such as C#, Java, JavaScript, etc.
  • Ability to write, maintain test cases in Gherkin style
  • Strong grasp of HTML and CSS selectors
  • Desire to identify and implement continuous improvement practices
  • Strong organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of debugging and root cause analysis

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience working with continuous integration tools to monitor test automation using Azure DevOps
  • Experience with Salesforce environment
  • Experience writing tests that exercise Cloud based/SaaS applications
  • Proficient with test automation approaches and processes (tools/technology preferences include Cucumber, Docker, Git, CI/CD)
  • Knowledge of React.js, and Sapper
