The HR Business Partner, Human Health US Field Sales and Integrated Account Management will provide HR strategic support for HH Field Sales Organizations for all therapy areas in the US Commercial Market. Primary clients will be the VP, Integrated Account Management and Field Sales Leadership across the US HH Market. The HRBP coaches the leader and his/her leadership team and provides expertise in the development of the organizational talent and diversity strategy, talent management, workforce planning, organizational design, restructuring, change management, leader effectiveness, performance management, compensation and rewards, and new business integration strategies. The HRBP is a core member of the respective HH Leadership team accountable for driving business outcomes and accountable for ensuring customer engagement with the national field sales organizations across the various therapy areas.

As part of the US Human Health Commercial HR team, the HRBP will partner with peer HRBPs and an extended team of HR colleagues, spanning Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Labor Relations, Employment Legal, Talent Management and Learning & Development in support of the business. The HRBP manages two (2) direct reports (HR Business Partners), responsible for providing HR support to the US Field Sales leaders within the Business Units.

This position reports to the Head of HR, Human Health US Commercial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Strategic HR consulting and coaching support to senior leaders on the HH Commercial Leadership team and within business units of the US Commercial Organization.

  • Create and/or drive the talent and diversity strategy for the assigned organization.

  • Support all talent management, organizational design and organizational alignment activities within client group(s).

  • Drive organizational efficiencies through strategic workforce planning.

  • Facilitate strategic organizational change management plans that accelerate business growth drivers.

  • Coach leaders and members of leadership team(s) to successfully manage all cyclical people management processes (talent management, succession planning, performance management, compensation planning, etc.).

  • Partner with the learning & development organization on learning strategies and solutions to support and enable talent strategy.

  • Partner with talent acquisition organization on activities in support of the organization’s workforce plan and talent strategy.

  • Take on responsibility of leading various HR initiatives that span the Global Human Health Commercial organization.

  • Collaborate across the HR network and with other stakeholders across the organization to resolve escalated issues and generate solutions to enable client’s business strategy.

  • Act as a change agent for accelerating organizational culture and ways of working shifts.

  • Manage HRBP direct report, coach and guide the work and professional development of the individual

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline or relevant work experience in lieu of degree

Experience:

  • Minimum 12 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner, in an HR COE; or relevant applicable experience

Skills/Competencies:

  • Demonstrated HR functional competence in one or more HR disciplines

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively influence, consult with and coach senior leaders and managers

  • Ability to strategically prioritize time and problem solve against most impactful activities and initiatives

  • Highly effective communicator with the ability to influence outcomes at all levels of the business.

  • Stakeholder management of multiple decision makers, corporate colleagues and cross-functional teams.

  • Proven ability to demonstrate and foster collaboration among peers and extended HR organization

  • Experience navigating and leveraging HR systems and data analytics to support client consultation

Preferred Competencies

  • Previous HR Business Partner experience

  • Demonstrated experience in organization development such as organization design, change management, workforce planning

  • Acquisition/Divestiture experience

  • Knowledge of employment legal practices and policies
