Human Capital Consultant

Work you'll do
- Identify opportunities for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to completing scope of work for clients in the government and higher education sectors
- Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues in the areas of change management, strategic communications, learning and development, and overall HR strategy
- Conduct relevant research, data analysis, and create reports
- Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products
- Assist in proposal development, as requested
- Actively expand consulting skills and professional development through training courses, mentoring, and daily interaction with clients

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, Industrial and Organizational Development/Psychology, or a rel ated discipline
- 1 year of relevant experience in an industry or consulting environment
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as internet research tools
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for this role
- Ability to travel up to 75%
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
- Strong preference for experience in Human Resources or a related field
- Experience with consulting or project management supporting federal, state and/or local government agencies, or higher education institutions
