Role Overview

Position Summary

We're looking for a get it done, organized marketing professional that is comfortable building relationships and implementing integrated marketing campaigns. Use your marketing expertise to contribute to breakthrough ideas that build awareness internally and externally. You will use your coordination and organizational skills to implement joint marketing and communication campaigns to enable sales and support demand generation.

As an Alliances Marketing Associate, you will be critical to the tactical execution of the marketing strategy for select alliances. Working with seasoned marketers, you will act as a liaison between our internal marketing teams, the alliance group, and the partner community. You will help manage events, conferences and external speaking opportunities. You'll drive mindshare through our websites, social activities and blog posts. This role supports Deloitte's Ecosystems & Alliances (E&A) business strategy and collaborates with some of the world's leading technology providers to address business challenges and meet new market needs.

Work You'll Do

You will be responsible for collecting content for external eminence and internal communications such as newsletters and intranet articles, client case studies and POVs, as well as marketing collateral. You must be articulate and feel confident when speaking or presenting to an internal audience. You will work to maintain guidelines and policies and review materials for compliance and approvals and ensure metrics are established and goals are met against campaigns.

  • Assist with execution of integrated campaigns for the alliances group geared toward brand awareness, alliance knowledge transfer and lead generation including, but not limited to conferences, regional events, roundtables and alliance sponsored events.
  • Maintain and communicate project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful events and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Meet with internal teams and our alliance counterparts to understand key initiatives and their impact to help facilitate and create marketing materials.
  • Prepare internal communications that support and bolster the alliance's position and offerings including alliance newsletters, practice updates, intranet articles, case studies, etc.
  • Work with PR and digital marketing teams to craft messaging that promotes campaigns and events via multiple channels including press, paid media, social media, email, web, etc.
  • Engage and collaborate with in-house designers and other creatives to drive the production of customized visual identities and marketing assets including sales decks, solution sheets, signage, etc.
  • Work closely with team members to share best practices and leverage marketing programs and initiatives; create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Deloitte Consulting's Ecosystems & Alliances Team is made up of professional alliance managers, alliance marketers and technical architects who understand the principles that drive successful alliance relationships. Together, they enable differentiated, innovative go-to-market solutions between our practice and alliance partners that bring quantified value to our clients and incremental revenue to the firm.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related field
  • 3 + years of prior relevant experience in marketing, communications or related field
  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
  • Ability to navigate a highly complex environment to accomplish goal, frequently under time pressure
  • Strong event management/coordination and project management experience
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Up to 25% travel required

Preferred:
  • Marketing experience with alliances, B2B and/or technology
  • 2+ years of professional B2B marketing experience in technology or professional services
  • Experience working with a team in a virtual mode with remote resources
  • Track record of achieving success in a matrixed organization.
