Job Description

New hires in office-based roles in the US & Puerto Rico will be required, subject to applicable law, to demonstrate that they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or qualify for a medical or religious exemption to this vaccination requirement that can be accommodated without an undue burden to the operation. As an MBA intern in our Human Health division, you will be assigned challenging projects on teams across various functions in marketing and commercial operations responsible for prescription medicines and vaccines. We are focused on driving growth and patient impact and fulfilling our company’s mission to save and improve lives.​

Types of works may include:

  • Strategic development and realization​

  • Addressing key strategic issues, evaluating choices, developing recommendations, and increasing the rigor of decision making​

  • Producing insight into competitors, customers, and industry trends​

  • Building upon commercial and strategic analytic frameworks to improve alignment, growth, and efficiency​

  • Conducting systemic research of the global healthcare industry​

  • Collaborating across teams and key stakeholders to develop a network of subject matter experts and data sources contributing to a project’s success​

  • Delivering executive level insight to senior management​

Required Education and Experience:

  • Candidates must currently hold a BS or BA degree and be enrolled in an MBA program for the fall 2022 semester. ​

  • Candidates must have completed (1) year of MBA coursework by summer 2023

  • Candidates must have strong communications skills; ability to communicate complex issues/dynamics in a clear and easy to understand manner​

  • Candidates must have a strategic mindset & critical thinking ability​

  • Candidates must have highly developed interpersonal, written, verbal and negotiation/influencing skills​

  • Candidates must have proven ability to collaborate, manage projects, and organize one’s work; ability to act with minimal supervision, prioritize activities and manage multiple tasks within deadlines ​

  • Candidates must have experience working on cross-functional teams​

  • Candidates must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite​

  • Candidates must have the ability to begin intern assignment in May/June 2023 and commit for up to 12 weeks. ​

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Business/Data analytics/Digital Marketing experience​

  • Experience with various Business Intelligence (BI) platforms

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or other related regulated industries

Under New York City law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education. Expected salary range: $59,400 - $101,000.

For positions located in the United States and Puerto Rico – Subject to applicable law, all new hires (including internal transfers) must demonstrate that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or that they qualify for a medical or religious exemption to this vaccination requirement. New hires (including internal transfers) to a position that, as determined by the Company, requires routine collaboration with external stakeholders (such as roles in health services or customer-facing commercial or research-based roles) (“Customer-Facing Role”) who are not vaccinated must qualify for a medical or religious exemption and be in a position that the Company determines can accommodate unvaccinated employees without causing an undue burden to business operations. If, following dialog with the candidate as appropriate, it is determined that the candidate either a) does not qualify for a religious or medical exemption or, b) for candidates applying for Customer-Facing roles, it is determined that allowing the candidate to work without vaccination would cause an undue burden to the Company, the candidate will be ineligible for hire or transfer, or any offer of employment or transfer (if applicable) will be revoked.
