The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units or areas. The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues and acts as an employee champion and change agent, seeking to develop or implement Human Resources integrated solutions to complex businesses and organizational needs. The position formulates partnerships across the Human Resources function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Consults with line management, providing Human Resources guidance when appropriate;
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues;
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions);
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention;
  • Provides Human Resources policy guidance and interpretation;
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required;
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning;
  • Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs;
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with Human Resources local and regional teams to develop solutions, programs and policies;
  • Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations;
  • Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related Human Resources matters.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other related field;
  • Minimim 5 years' experience as Human Resources Business Partner in multinational companies ideally companies with products instead of services is desired;
  • Excellent Communications (oral, reading and written) in English and Spanish;
  • Demonstrate strong capacity to resolving complex employee relations issues;
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation & benefits practices, organizational diagnosis, performance and talent management, and organizational culture improvement;
  • Labor Relations management experience is preferred.
