Are you ready?Position Overview:During the12- week paid internship, students will work on projects that have a measurableimpact on our business while being coached and mentored by Eaton HRprofessionals. This internship in HumanResources is designed to provide the foundation to early career HRprofessionals, through fast-paced, real world, hands-on HR Generalistexperience leading projects in areas such as:+ Talent Acquisition+ Onboarding+ Change Management+ Business Acumen+ Workforce Planning+ Compensation andBenefits+ Employee Relations+ EmployeeEngagementInaddition to your valuable on the job learning, interns participate in robustprogramming including professional development activities, cross-functionalprojects, senior leader exposure, networking events, and visits to other Eatonsites. These events will help you gain exposure to the many excitingopportunities that lay ahead of you as you build your career at Eaton.Interngroups will be in one of the following business headquarters:+ Pittsburgh,PA+ Southfield,MI (Greater Detroit area)Additional internship locations may be available in select manufacturingsites to meet individual, developmental interest and business need.QualificationsBasic Qualifications(Including Educational Requirements):+ Actively pursuing aMasters or MBA degree program with a focus in Human Resources and/or a relateddiscipline from an accredited institution+ Mustbe legally authorized to work in the United States without Companysponsorship+ Geographicallyflexible to relocate within the United States for this internshipPreferredQualifications:+ Relevant workexperience and/or HR internship experience+ Demonstratedleadership experience within campus and/or the community+ A desire to build acareer in human resources in a fast-pace manufacturing environment+ Highly skilledcommunicator, strong analytical, and presentation skills+ Abilityto execute with minimal direction and prepared to navigate change withpatience, optimism, and poise+ Intellectuallycurious; always willing to probe deeper to understand organizational behaviorand performancePosition Criteria:+ Thisrole may include travel (up to 25%) within a local region as determined by theassignment manager.+ Transportationto and from the worksite and for incidental business travel is theresponsibility of the intern; however, expenses for required and approvedbusiness travel (not including the worksite) will be reimbursed.+ Thesummer internship culminates with a formal presentation where students showcasetheir success stories to leaders of the organization and receive feedback ontheir performance.We make what matters work.
