What you will do

• As a Senior Human Factors Engineer, you will be involved in supporting our commercial devices and NPI projects. You will be responsible for characterizing the situations under which our devices are used, performing gap assessments between anticipated use and real-world use, supporting complaint investigations, participating in voice of customer activities and supporting usability testing. This position will partner cross-functionally with a goal of optimizing the customer experience.
• You will make regular use of problem-solving tools to support test method development, design validation, risk assessment and design reviews. You will be responsible for planning and execution of human factors evaluation activities, and developing strategies to appropriately integrate usability testing into the design control process.
• NV products push the boundaries of technology to meet ever increasing product performance requirements, making the goal of assessing and demonstrating safety, performance, and compliance an exciting challenge.

What you need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or similar field
• 4+ years of experience in a technical role
• 2+ years of experience in Medical Devices
• Experience in Human Factors Engineering
• Experience in Design Control and/or Risk Management preferred
• Demonstrated problem solving ability
