Human Resources Manager

Bally Sports is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join the team. In this role, you will be a key member of the Diamond Sports Group HR team. You will provide day-to-day HR support for the Bally Sports+ Direct to Consumer team and the Diamond Sports Group Corporate Functions. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with dynamic client groups and drive the sports media business forward.

Responsibilities:

• Provide broad HR support for the Direct to Consumer and Corporate Functions (e.g., Finance, Legal, Technology) groups.
• Partner/collaborate with senior leadership team to align and execute HR strategies in support of operations.
• Operate as a key HR POC for employee population, providing HR guidance/expertise while demonstrating deep understanding of HR best practices and business operations.
• Lead and drive key HR initiatives and projects including performance management, organization planning, compensation planning, and learning and development.
• Provide coaching, counsel, and direction to client groups in areas including conflict resolution, performance management, employee relations, labor relations, professional development, and compensation.
• Liaise effectively with internal HR partners, including Legal, Finance, Labor Relations, and HR Operations to efficiently manage and resolve employee issues.
• Work closely with Talent Acquisition to successfully identify and hire high-caliber new talent and ensure a dynamic pipeline.
• Work within HR team to uncover, assess, and propose opportunities for HR process improvements.

Qualifications:

What You Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of progressive HR work experience

Desired Characteristics:

• Knowledge and practical application of HR disciplines including U.S employment and labor laws, employee relations, management & leadership development, performance management, organizational design and compensation philosophies and knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety.
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work with minimal guidance or direct supervision.
• Collaborative, creative, agile, and adaptive HR professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is committed to outstanding client service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to understand the clients' business and develop both strategic and tactical solutions to tangible business challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems with creative solutions.
• Process and detail oriented, including strong organization, time management and prioritization skills.
• Experience with HRIS and HCMs.
• Experience working in a union environment is a plus.

The base salary compensation range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
