Eatons Crouse-Hinds, B-Line, Oil & Gas Division is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team based out of our Highland, IL location.Position Overview:As an integral part of the site leadership team this role will identify, develop and deploy business-driven HR strategies designed to attract, manage, develop, motivate and retain key people while creating a high-performance, sustainable organization capable of achieving the business objectives and action plans. Its where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potentialand where you can help us reach ours.In this function you will:+ Provide clear guidance to leadership regarding policies, practices, laws and regulations to ensure all human resource policies and programs are in compliance with local and governmental regulatory requirements and support the achievement of both short/long-term business objectives.+ Facilitate the design and implementation of impactful change initiatives that ensure the best possible solution for all major constituents, including employees, customers, shareholders, while exemplifying and leading the Eaton Leadership Model.+ Provides guidance and direction to business leaders and employees on human resource management policies, processes and systems.+ Lead talent acquisition plans that anticipate short/long-term business needs. Coach site leadership on how to engage and retain key talent and identifying when there is a retention risk.+ Cultivates a relationship with the local union in order to develop solution-based resolutions for labor relations related tasks and issues in a proactive manner including, but not limited to: negotiations, grievances, arbitrations and labor management changes.+ Integration of Eatons core values, integrity, and ethics policy throughout all organizational and business practices.+ Drive and support inclusion and diversity practices and planning while aligning strategic vision of the site to Eatons overall cultural diversity programs initiatives.+ Counsel and influence leadership to build a high-performance winning culture and an inclusive environment.+ Motivate and coach employees and managers to maintain high levels of engagement, manager effectiveness, productivity, and quality.+ Coordinates disability claims (STD and LTD), leaves of absence (FMLA), and workers compensation (WC) claims with HR Services, third party administrator (TPA), and relevant parties.+ Manage and develop skills of the Human Resources team to support business initiatives and goals including functional reports. QualificationsRequired Qualifications:+ Bachelors degree from an accredited institution required+ Minimum 3 years of increasing responsibility in a progressive HR environment or a graduate of Eaton's LDP program.+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship+ No relocation benefit will be provided. All candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of Highlands, IL to be considered.Preferred qualifications:+ Masters degree from an accredited institution+ HR Certification+ Experience working at a union facilityWe make what matters work.
