Eatons Crouse- Hinds, B-Linedivision is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team. Thisrole is based in Syracuse, NY.Position Overview:The primary function for this position is tobe a high performing business partner leading the HR function for theSyracuse manufacturing site. As part of the leadership team for the site, youwill have overall responsibility for developing, directing, coordinating andmaintaining all talent initiatives. This role will be responsible for thedevelopment and deployment of HR policies, programs, processes, and bestpractices throughout the manufacturing facility. The incumbent will beresponsible for managing day-to-day employee and labor relations inaccordance with legal, divisional, and corporate guidelines.Making what matters work atEaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. Its where bold, bright professionals like youcan reach your full potentialand where you can help us reach ours.In this function youwill:+ Lead the HR function for roughly350 employees spread across a 904,000 square foot facility on multipleshifts.+ Drive positive employee/laborrelations to provide an optimal work environment for all employees.Effectively deploy communication plans and utilize assessment tools (e.g. theemployee survey) to determine organizational issues and action plans.Exemplify and lead Eaton values, philosophy and ethics.+ Responsible for managing laborrelations with the local union which includes facilitating proper adherenceto the collective bargaining agreement and partnering with union leadership.+ You will participate in drivingthe Eaton Business System to facilitate a culture where best practices areshared across HR and the business.Benchmark industry and local best practices to set stretch performancetargets.+ Build organizational capabilitythrough ownership of talent management processes including acquisition,assessment, performance management and employee development.+ Develop HR talent by mentoring anddeveloping HR Leadership Development Program Participants.+ Lead in a variety of health andsafety initiatives including but not limited to: Safety Category champion,Employee Engagement Team Lead, Ergonomics Team co-lead, and othersafety/environmental programs established for the facility for a safe workenvironment.+ Implement, promote and maintain asafe work environment by implementing a zero-incident culture.+ Coach and influence leadershipregarding policies, practices, laws and regulations to ensure all humanresource policies and programs follow local and governmental regulatoryrequirements and are driving an engaged culture.+ Develop and deploy effectivetraining process to meet the current and future needs of the strategic plansof the organization.+ You will liaise with Corporate HRServices to provide workforce with greater HR programs accessibility.When we embrace the differentideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we asindividuals and as a company are stronger.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:+ Bachelors Degree from an accreditedinstitution.+ Minimum 5 years HR experience+ Must be legally authorized to workin the United States without company sponsorship.+ No relocation benefit will beprovided.
