**This is a remote position but prefer a candidate in driving distance to the Flower Mound location for occasional trainings. **

Job Description

The mission of the Associate Data Scientist is to provide tactical execution of very clearly defined objectives and deliverables within the Data Science & Analytics project portfolio. The person taking this role will be responsible for setting the foundational structure of data in order to enable business solutions to unfold. This role will report directly to the Director of the Finance Data Science & Analytics team and will work very closely with the team’s data scientists and analysts.

What you will do:

  • Primary responsibilities for building and maintain certain database architectures and creating user-friendly interfaces to interact with output analysis

  • Engage in various data cleansing activities using cloud services that help enable the Data Science & Analytics team to execute on initiatives

  • Create data visualizations and solution interfaces for end users

  • Assist in tasks related to building the framework for large-scale, value-added predictive solutions to be used by functions around Stryker

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Data Science related field

  • Experience in SQL, Python, 1 to 3 years preferred

  • Experience with visualization software preferred

  • Experience with Excel, Power Suite (Power Apps, Power automate, Power BI), 1 to 3 years preferred

  • Basic understanding of cloud-based technologies

  • Basic understanding of data structure

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • The ability to communicate and present to a group

  • Strong attention to detail

This job may be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States, except that this job may not be filled or performed in Colorado.
