What you will do:

Manage Stryker’s Neurosurgical customer experience platform (including tradeshows, engagement events and VIP visits) in an effort to drive customer, employee and community engagement.

  • Serve as program manager for Stryker’s Neurosurgical tradeshows. Including evaluating booth locations, developing floor plans, planning of pre-show meetings, planning custom shows and maximizing booth property usage.
  • Serve as program manager for Stryker’s Neurosurgical engagement events. Including but not limited to partnering with external vendors, evaluating event locations, developing floor plans, planning of pre-event meetings.
  • Serve as program manager for Stryker’s Neurosurgical VIP experiences. Including but not limited to partnering with internal and external stakeholders to design and execute VIP visits, dinners, tours, meetings, etc.
  • Lead cross-divisional collaboration to align on key events/tradeshows. Manage and maintain show calendar and budget. Lead ROI program that includes tracking leads post-show.
  • Develop and execute communication strategy for all platforms to both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with societies to plan and negotiate society partnerships and sponsorships to maximize budget and impact.
  • Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to propel creative brand strategy and execute best creative solution for complex challenges in digital, print, and experience arenas.
  • Create marketing materials from conception through design, review and final production based on the corporate identity guidelines.
  • Produce superior design solutions that meet brand objectives and customer needs
  • Cross-divisional collaboration among Stryker divisions to ensure consistency in shows/events
  • Create campaigns in SalesForce.com to track and report post-show ROI. Input leads, communicate with sales and sales management to maximize lead follow-up and results.
  • Ensure that all suppliers deliver high quality marketing materials that meet the defined corporate standards
  • Represent, communicate, and implement the Stryker design and brand management concept internally and externally; promote and defend the integrity of corporate design and brand standards
  • Maintain a high degree of self-motivation, generate fresh ideas, attend seminars and training sessions, keep current with internal and external design trends and foster positive team interaction
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure the proper equipment and/or materials are available for all events
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Applies clinical knowledge in combination with technical knowledge to develop unique and enticing assets for sales team.
  • Ability to identify sales needs based on feedback and current landscape.
  • Prepares and delivers formal presentations to small and friendly audiences.
  • Organizes key points and supporting information for a topic as appropriate for the audience.

  • Participates in training to operate computer graphics design software.

  • Establishes metrics, goals/success criteria, and milestones.
  • Conducts post-launch analyses and implements lessons learned.
  • Establishes short-range and long-range improvement goals for own function and develops action plans to achieve those goals.
  • Reports measurement results in actionable form to management.

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related discipline required
• 6+ years of work experience required
• 3+ years medical device or marketing experience preferred
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
• Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
• Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
