What you will do:

As a Project Associate, Engineer you will be mainly focused on engineering support of international regulatory standards. In this role you will investigate product designs across a large portfolio while partnering with Regulatory groups to identify gaps associated with product design, material selection and testing. You will be responsible for drafting test protocols and test reports to address compliance gaps and conduct change management activities to update product designs. This role will also entail project management duties on small and medium sized projects.

  • Will determine specific processes and development schedules to meet pre-determined goals and objectives.
  • Will monitor and control progress of projects to ensure sound application of engineering principles are used and design intent is being followed/achieved.
  • Coordinates with other units, vendors and senior managers as needed to ensure specific cost, time and/or regulatory standards are met.
  • Will aid in the evaluation final results of project and provide manufacturing guidance/assistance as needed.
  • May participate in the prototype assembly and/or design of sub- or final assemblies of assigned products.
  • May train others on functional area related topics.
  • Will submit periodic reports on assigned topics to appropriate personnel.
  • May have contact with customers.
  • Supports change control process for design changes.

What you Need:

  • B.S. of Engineering and 0+ years of experience
  • Working knowledge of ProE or CAD preferred
  • Demonstrated technical design and problem solving skills.
  • Exercise discretion and independence when applying professional expertise.
  • Must be able to manage time, projects, stress and conflict.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication.
  • Supports change control process for design changes.
