This specialization requires broad knowledge of the Insurance industry and deep knowledge of clients' businesses and how it relates to specific Insurance segments. Specialist is knowledgeable in the trends and directions of the industry, the marketplace, and the players.Your Responsibilities - What you will do+ Understand and drive business requirements with client business teams+ Document detailed business requirements and obtain business sign-off+ Provide requirements walkthrough to internal development and QA teams+ Review test scenarios/cases vis--vis business requirements+ Perform product configuration for new product launches and enhancements+ Perform unit testing for product configurations+ Support business teams in UAT process+ Provide post-production support in case of business issuesRequired Technical and Professional Expertise+ 10+ Years of Business Analyst / Business System Analyst Experience in development of Web/Mobile-based applications+ In-depth domain knowledge of the Life Insurance Industry, including the distribution process+ Strong communication, inter-personal, analytical and problem-solving skills+ Understanding of business rules and ability to configure the same with minimal coding+ Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ Insurance Industry experience across New Business, Underwriting, Sales and Servicing+ Programming knowledge, preferably in the area of business rule coding and configurationNAAbout Business UnitIBM Services is a team of business, strategy and technology consultants that design, build, and run foundational systems and services that is the backbone of the world's economy.
