Our business helps support their way of life and contributes to the survival of a culture that has thrived in a challenging environment.**Job Summary:**As a **Contract Programs Security Officer (CPSO)** you will develop, administer and audit security programs for compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material and export-controlled data. Develop and execute security programs associated with the protection of proprietary information in compliance with corporate policies. Perform in individual and team roles supporting all contractual security requirements for Special Access Programs (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs or DoD collateral classified programs; serves as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO). Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company compliance and contract execution as set forth in SAP security rules (JAFAN/JSIG), SCI security rules (ICD) or DOD security rules (NISPOM). Work closely with U.S. Government customers to seek contract execution approvals and seek security rulings or deviations. Provide support in managing the quality, schedule and cost expectations associated with program development and execution, while maintaining the fundamental security requirements defined by the customer/company and program. Prepare implementation manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors' access to classified materials. Develop and conduct security education classes. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Applies business-minded and riskmanaged solutions to security issues and business challenges and communicates observations.**Responsibilities:**+ Apply expertise of the M-1 Manual, Department of Defense Directives (DoDD) and Department of Defense Manuals (DoDM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and Intelligence Community (IC) amplifying Instructions, to implement and adhere to the day-to-day security operations. Using your security experience of various security disciplines (i.e. physical, safeguarding, and classification management) to determine, apply, monitor and ensure appropriate security requirements applicable to the work programs.+ Develop and conduct clear and concise assessments, corrective action plans, policies, procedures, and reports. This includes investigations of security incidents to determine the potential for compromise of program information, conducting government required self-inspections to ensure compliance with sponsor regulations and reduce security risks, and daily SCIF inspections and report and remediate anomalous occurrences.+ Review all incoming Program Access Requests for signature.+ Assist with implementation of visitor control, safeguarding secure spaces, classification management, physical security, information system security, security education and training, and personnel security for adherence to all government security collateral, SCI and SAP requirements. Develop, review, coordinate, and execute Program Security documentation. Some examples of documentation include; Fixed Facility Checklist (FFC), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Transportation Plans, Emergency Action Plans (EAPs), Co-Uses, review and maintain SAP rosters.+ Draft and submit security paperwork for facility and AIS accreditations in support of security operations. Support periodic security inspections of cleared facilities to ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), the NISPOM supplement and particular requirements for various classified programs.+ Engage and collaborate with office and security staff to ensure program security policies and procedures follow company and customer requirements.+ Establish and maintain effective communications with customers, security staff, program leads, and departments management Coordinate closely with Office management by providing regular status updates regarding new security requirements, issues, etc.**Qualifications****Minimum Qualifications:**+ Three (3) or more years of contractor or government program security experience supporting SCI programs within the DoD and/or the Intelligence Community (IC)+ Must have and be able to maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with an active Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph, or the ability to pass a CI polygraph upon hire+ Knowledge in drafting and submitting security paperwork for facility and AIS accreditations in support of security operations+ Proficient using MS Office Suite of applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Microsoft Access (database))+ Knowledge in development, review, coordination, and executing Program Security documentation.
