Job Description:

Leidos, Inc. is seeking a Program Security Representative to support its National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) in the Washington, DC office. The NISC IV program provides diverse and critical support of the Federal Aviation Administration. Applicant will be responsible for program security guidance and onboarding of new hire candidates including the Public Trust vetting process, records management, security education, personal international travel tracking and compliance, security reporting and communication, and offboarding.

Applicant will use software supporting e-mail, word processing, database management and data entry, be highly organized and demonstrate a high level of initiative and attention to detail. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to - managing, tracking, and reporting on the progression of adjudication files from initiation through completion, assisting candidates through the entire public trust vetting process to include manual fingerprinting, liaising with all levels of customers both internal and external, providing required security briefings to a diverse audience, becoming familiar with personnel security databases and applications (e.g., DISS, e-QIP and SIMS). Applicant will use the utmost discretion to protect all sensitive and personally identifiable information (PII) in accordance with current policies, directives and procedures.

Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination and at least an interim secret security clearance.

Note: After an initial training period, the selected candidate will be able to work from home several days a week.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and 3 to 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • DoD Interim Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Ability to effectively use customer’s security databases
  • Ability to effectively communicate processes and procedures to customer base
  • Possess outstanding customer service skills in order to meet high demand requirements
  • Individual must be experienced in working with a dynamic work environment, supporting several tasks at once, with potential for short deadlines
  • Ability to effectively communicate processes and procedures to a broad internal and external customer base
  • Possess outstanding customer service dealing with all levels of management both internally and externally
  • Past experience with, and demonstrate the skills and capabilities to successfully execute the duties and responsibilities of this position, including: attention to detail, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Reliable, dependable and trustworthy. Proficient with standard Microsoft Office products

Desired/Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Past experience with personnel security education/awareness posters, newsletters
  • Working knowledge of OF306 form, DISS, e-QIP and SIMS
