Job Description:

Leidos is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer for a position in the Chantilly, VA area. This position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph in order to be considered.

Cyber Engineer will be involved in Security Report Writing, Computer Automated Dispatch (CAD), and Scheduling program provides a one stop solution for its client base. The Sponsor requires support specializing in the maintenance of its internal security website. The work may be performed independently or within a team environment. The systems engineer will provide operation and maintenance (O&M) and content management support to the Sponsor’s internal Security Report Writing, Computer Automated Dispatch (CAD), and Scheduling programs. They will coordinate changes to minimalize impact to the systems availability, coordinate with stakeholders to guarantee problem and issue resolution, and communicate technical problems and information to both technical and non-technical audiences as needed.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Requires BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience in order to operate within the scope contemplated by the level.

  • Demonstrated experience understanding Risk Management Framework (RMF).

  • Demonstrated experience navigating RMF processes in order to achieve Authorization to Proceed.

  • Demonstrated experience communicating complex technical concepts and project or technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Demonstrated experience with the full software development lifecycle.

  • Demonstrated experience operating and analyzing the results of vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus, Webnspect, and AppDetective.

  • Demonstrated experience gathering systems development and requirements data.

  • Demonstrated experience analyzing systems and networks for development.

  • Demonstrated experience with documentation preparation for system development.


Desired:

  • Demonstrated experience with forensic software utilized by Sponsor.

  • Demonstrated experience providing security information and guidance to the organization throughout the systems lifecycle.

  • Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor’s accreditation process.

  • Demonstrated experience with procurement processes.

  • Demonstrated experience providing recommendations in technical standards, security standards, and operational assurance.

  • Demonstrated experience interfacing with vendors and third party producers.

Pay Range:Pay Range $94,250.00 - $145,000.00 - $195,750.00
