Description
Job Description:Provides continuous monitoring and analysis of security threats and investigations of networks.
Primary Responsibilities include:
•Monitor SIEM, IPS/IDS and other analytic engineering tools for anomalous activities and threats.
•Routinely hunt and investigate threats discovered in the collection and processing networks, and present reports to security team.
•Assist security personnel with responding to incidents across a wide array of technologies, mitigate and contain impacts, coordinate remediation efforts, and summarize recommendations for improvements.
Basic Qualifications:
•At least two (2) years of experience as Security Analyst in a corporation, government, or service firm.
•Experience using and administering Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) or analytics solutions (Splunk, ELK, or similar).
•Experience conducting security assessments and threat hunting activities, and the subsequent identification and mitigation of vulnerabilities required.
•Industry security certification such as CISSP, CSIM, Security+, or similar certification.
•Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field of study and 2 to 4 years or prior relevant experience OR Masters degree and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
•Must be a US Citizen.
•Must have Top Secret Clearance – Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Eligible.
Preferred Qualifications:
•AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification, Solutions Architect Certification or other AWS Certification.
•Experience in Agile Practices.
