CIO Hybrid Cloud Platforms provides the platforms and infrastructure that powers IBM, allowing business and application teams to focus on creating the digital business experiences that will drive IBM forward.Our primary focus within CIO Hybrid Cloud Platforms is driving our CIO Hybrid Cloud strategy forward. The CIO Hybrid Cloud, built with Red Hat and IBM technologies, is the engine for the IBM cognitive enterprise. You'll provide clarity and direction, promote excellent communication and collaboration, create compelling platform adoption content and techniques for consumers, and lead the way in research of emerging hybrid cloud technologies.As a Cloud Architect within the COE, you are a leader and catalyst for change. You'll energize others around you who are willing to follow you in evolving the way we operate, communicate, and collaborate. You'll provide cloud native thought leadership and build a culture of learning. You'll also develop a great understanding of the needs of platform teams, application teams, and IBM's business, and facilitate each component's contribution to our hybrid cloud transformation.This role is specialized in helping achieve a high degree of security, governance, and compliance hygiene. The ideal candidate will round out the team's capabilities in driving the adoption of IBM's security standards as well as other governance and compliance requirements. However, a broad hybrid cloud skillset is desired.**Responsibilities include:**+ Understand and promote the CIO Hybrid Cloud Platforms strategy and IBM's strategy as the Hybrid Cloud and AI company+ Collaborate with application teams through formal engagements to facilitate app modernization and adoption of hybrid cloud platforms+ Develop and/or apply tooling to accelerate hybrid cloud adoption in collaboration with platform teams+ Create technical content, blueprints, architecture patterns/models, and proof of concepts+ Analyze the latest product and platform developments and how they can help app teams+ Influence platform team roadmaps based on future product capabilities and app team needs+ Use data in an open way to iterate, innovate, and inspire**The Team**The Center of Excellence is part of the CIO Hybrid Cloud Platforms organization within the Office of the CIO, supporting internal employees, infrastructure, and systems that help run and drive the business.
