We are seeking energetic, forward-thinking professionals to join our Manufacturing IT Operations organization. As part of that team, you will help launch our new Manufacturing IT Operating Model focused on aligning IT support to meet business objectives and enable our manufacturing sites to increase production of critical pharmaceutical products for our patients around the world.

The ICS (Industrial Control Systems) / OT (Operational Technology) Security Operations Lead will partner with business & site IT leaders to learn about manufacturing and its reliance on IT infrastructure, services and applications, and work closely with global IT teams to provide a reliable digital foundation. As a member of the Manufacturing IT Operational Excellence team you will work closely with manufacturing stakeholders to comprehend business needs and deliver solutions while ensuring adherence to the security standards for the Operational Technology (OT) environment.

We are seeking professionals with the following qualifications and experience:

Primary responsibilities include:

Deliver cyber security solutions to manufacturing sites with shop floor networks (SFN’s) that meet the operational data flow requirements of their systems while adhering to OT security standards.

Contribute to the technical standards and design of the shop floor security architecture for manufacturing environments.

Collaborate with manufacturing IT site support teams to promote shop floor cyber security best practices.

Stay current with ICS architecture and cyber security best practices.

Evaluate new SFN firewall rule requests for compliance with OT security standards and proper placement within the rule set.

Partner with Manufacturing sites to ensure the approval and change control processes are followed for SFN Firewall rule changes.

Champion a SFN Firewall hygiene process.

Develop a fundamental comprehension of normal data flows within the SFN and research abnormal traffic patterns.

Perform advanced system troubleshooting, problem resolution, and participation in an on-call incident response.

Education Minimum Requirement:

Bachelors degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related field. Or 5+ years of working experience directly related to the cyber and technical environments in a manufacturing business.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of ICS operation experience or equivalent experience with ICS technologies and/or environments including SCADA, DCS, PLCs, HMIs, etc.in a highly restricted control network.
  • CISSP, GICSP, GRID, or CISM Certifications or willing to obtain a security certification within 1 year in role.
  • Experience in information management and/or digital initiatives within a manufacturing organization.
  • Experience working with cloud capabilities and software as a service (SaaS).
  • Demonstrated ability to comprehend business value drivers, workflow reengineering, design thinking, and digital product management.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and define business problems and identify appropriate technology product solutions aligned to business and IT strategies.
  • Strong track-record of developing and maintaining relationships with business leaders and technology solution partners: managing communications, presenting clear and concise solutions options/risks/needs.
  • Fluent English in both verbal and written forms is a must.

Soft Skills :

Demonstrated ability to define business problems and identify appropriate technology solutions aligned to business and IT strategies.

Strong track-record of developing and maintaining relationships with business leaders and technology solution partners including managing communications, presenting clear and concise solutions options/risks/needs.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse workforce in multicultural settings.

Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence without authority.

Continuous improvement mindset that can identify team improvement opportunities.

Preferred Experience :

Experience with the interpretation and application of IT / OT security policies.

Experience working with global business teams to architect security solutions to support the business operational risks.

Exposure to Network Information Security, Information Security Compliance, Project Management, PCI, Industrial Control Systems (ICS), NIST 800-53, 800-82, 800-8183.

Experience in a GxP regulated environment.
