Leidos' Chief Technology Office is currently seeking an experienced Cyber Security IA professional in support of key programs within the Leidos portfolio. The Cyber Security IA professional supports the Defense Director of Cyber Security in the support of key programs and efforts as needed to include Risk Management Framework (RMF), Interim Authorization to Test (IATT), Authority to Operate (ATO) functions and physical system security anti-tamper efforts.

Responsibilities – What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Support current and future programs with all Risk Management Framework (RMF) , Interim Authorization to Test (IATT) , and Authority to Operate (ATO) functions.

  • Assist with the review of architecture and technical artifacts from a cybersecurity perspective, develop and implement Cyber security policies and procedures, and identify, document, and remediate cyber security gaps.

  • Assist with the development of templates and recommendation of other tools to support risk management and ATO activities.

  • Assist or lead reviewing authorizations, and providing pre-assessments as need to obtain or retain ATO.

  • Identify the requirements that are security critical and establish corresponding controls for these requirements.

  • Periodically test and evaluate the effectiveness of information security controls and/or physical security controls.

  • Lead/Support cybersecurity compliance assessment efforts.

  • Support the development of cyber strategy and associated documentation.

  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise for customer certification inquiries for both Cyber Security and Physical Security.

  • Provides technical advice/input that impact strategic client outputs and Leidos business results.

  • Impacts functional strategy by developing new solutions, processes, standards or operational plans that position Leidos competitively in the marketplace.

  • Lead the effort to synergize cyber and physical security efforts into a cohesive single focus mission.

  • Serves as a technical lead on large, complex projects.

  • Mentors and coaches other technical staff.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • Require MS degree and 15+ years of prior relevant technical experience in order to operate within the scope contemplated by the level (additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree).

  • Enthusiasm for innovation, experimentation and self-development in the cyber security field.

  • Understand government requirements for cyber security and physical security.

  • Prior experience with DOD Accreditation and tools in both IA and physical security fields.

  • Knowledge of networks, cyber defense toolsets and processes. Strong understanding of related technologies and significant knowledge of particular networking technologies, operating systems, and security tools, tactics, techniques, and procedures.

  • Experience with DoD Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) Program.

  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Experience and proven ability to work autonomously and in a team in an innovative and fast-paced environment whilst delivering to deadlines.

  • DODi- 8570 certification to meet IAT II (Security+ CE) within 6 months of hire.

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification within first year of employment.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education – Favorable if you have:

  • Advanced degree (M.S., Dc.S., or Ph.D.)

  • Experience and proven ability to work autonomously and in a team in an innovative and fast-paced environment whilst delivering to deadlines.

  • The ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance is strongly preferred.

  • Experience in facility security management.

  • Experience with anti-tamper and other physical security defensive measures.

  • Proven ability to design, articulate, and deliver complex cyber solutions that: are scalable, robust, secure, and resilient and deliver clear, measurable value to program owners and end users.

  • Experience in training and course development.

  • Experience with open source intelligence.

Clearance Required:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
