Work you'll do

  • Implement risk management programs for our federal clients by utilizing NIST, RMF, and FISMA compliance frameworks.
  • Enhance cyber awareness with clients and project teams.
  • Work alongside federal clients to help them mitigate risk with the use of continuous monitoring and incident response.
  • Establish security controls to ensure protection of client systems.
  • Implement cutting edge security tools for our federal clients.
  • Identify and track security-related risks and major milestones to support steady-state operations and development of IT systems
  • Integrate security
  • Support integration of security best practices, policies and procedures into our tailored solution for ITDM's agile PMO framework
  • Work closely with the ISSOs and other security and program representatives to ensure compliance with security requirements and manage related risk
  • Coordinate with ISSOs and the System Owner to support system authorization activities
  • Maintain relationship with client security personnel
  • Produce monthly and quarterly briefing slide deck for CISO and CIO on behalf of System Owner which would include risk, accomplishments, vulnerability remediation status and future milestones

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Minimum Active Public Trust security clearance required
  • Travel up to 10%
  • Experience working with RMF and NIST 800-53
  • Experience working with cyber security tools
  • Experience with cyber awareness (e.g., phishing emails, cyber trainings)
  • Demonstrated project management knowledge and experience
  • Understanding or experience with the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC)
  • Ability to utilize working knowledge of information security best practice such as: NIST 800 series, DHS or similar Federal controls to provide security consulting
  • Knowledge of key cloud security standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO, CA STAR)
  • Strong time management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing/shifting priorities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a cross-functional team and partner closely with clients
  • Comfort with preparing and presenting ideas directly to the client
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (plain language, active voice)
  • Basic understanding or experience with Agile development using Scrum (experience in SAFe Agile is a plus)
  • Experience or knowledge of JIRA/Confluence software suite

Preferred:
  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
  • Certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP)
