This position will be expected to work in a team-oriented, results-driven group, working collaboratively with the Corporate Legal Operations team in support of corporate and enterprise Legal, Compliance and Regulatory Affairs (LCRA) projects and initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the with the Corporate Legal Operations team in support of corporate and enterprise LCRA projects and initiatives
  • Interact with individuals at all levels of the organization; represent the team with professionalism and integrity
  • Compile and/or integrate information needed to prepare reports and presentations
  • Make recommendations and provide explanations for reporting results as needed
  • Updating data within the legal matter management system
  • Management of department SharePoint Online sites and document libraries
  • Monitor on-going progress of projects and initiatives to identify potential challenges, risks, and/or defects
  • Provide back-up support for other Corporate Legal Operations team members as needed, including: handling/processing of invoices, preparing and distributing information to internal and external stakeholders, supporting event logistics

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in business operations, project coordination, or legal operations
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in MS Excel
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of law firm or corporate law department experience
  • 3 + years of related experience in Legal Operations an asset
  • Project coordination experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint Online
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Focus on detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-output team-oriented, practical environment
  • Possess the initiative to plan for and complete daily activities with minimal directions
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously with attention to detail
