Andrew J. Gorman & Associates, insurance staff counsel for State Farm Insurance Companies, is seeking an administrative support team member to join the Orlando, FL office. Qualified candidates would be responsible for providing administrative assistance to attorneys, paralegals, legal secretaries, and leadership. We are seeking detail oriented individuals to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to creating subpoenas, obtaining medical records, processing and scanning medical records and mail, processing invoices and CD's, and other clerical tasks as assigned. Hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8:30 A.M.-5:00 P.M. The position is classified as a hybrid role, meaning that the work arrangement calls for hours in the office and virtually. Everyone in a hybrid role is required to spend some time in the office. Work arrangements could change over time based on business needs.
Based in Orlando, FL, we enjoy an active and busy civil trial practice with no billable hour requirements. We provide a congenial, team oriented, and professional work environment with skilled support staff.
- Knowledge and familiarity of the legal process, as well as legal and medical terminology is preferred
- Accurate typing and data entry skills
- Familiarity with legal documents
- Strong customer service skills both in person and over the phone
- Accurate and efficient in an electronic environment, including experience in Microsoft Office and Adobe
