Responsibilities

Nicholas J. Ryan & Associates is offering an opportunity to join a high performing insurance staff counsel for State Farm Insurance Companies. We are seeking an Administrative Support team member to join the Fort Lauderdale, FL Claims Litigation office. Qualified candidates will be responsible for providing administrative assistance to attorneys, paralegals, legal secretaries, and leadership. Job duties include tasks associated with records procurement, light reception area responsibilities, processing of electronic mail and other clerical tasks as assigned.

You will be working in a hybrid environment, with some required presence in the office and some remote. Work arrangements could change over time based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • Preferred experience in a legal environment, knowledge of the legal process, and legal/medical terminology
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service skills over the phone and in person
  • Accurate and efficient in an electronic environment, including experience in Microsoft Office and Adobe
