Responsibilities

Jeanette N. Little & Associates, (In-house insurance defense law office for State Farm Insurance Company in Pleasanton), is seeking an administrative support team member. Please note that this position can be located at either the Pleasanton CLC Office or the Riverside CLC Office and will support the Pleasanton CLC Office regardless of which office the selected person is located in.

Qualified candidates are responsible for providing administrative assistance to attorneys, paralegals, legal secretaries, and leadership. The selected candidate well be reliable, detail oriented, adaptable, resourceful, and team oriented with a professional demeanor. Excellent computer skills, organization, communication skills, initiative, and an affinity for working in a team environment are essential. Attention to detail, flexibility, follow up, punctuality, the ability to multi task and a strong work ethic are also required. Knowledge of MS Office software and ability to learn software applications is needed. Our salary is competitive and our benefits are exceptional including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, paid time off and many others. Job duties include reception area/phone responsibilities, processing mail, new file openings & file closings, ordering/downloading records, data entry, and other clerical tasks as assigned. The position is classified as a hybrid role, meaning that the work arrangement calls for hours in the office and virtually. Everyone in a hybrid role is required to spend some time in the office. Work arrangements could change over time based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a professional legal environment is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills both in person and over the phone
  • Accurate and efficient in an electronic environment, including experience in Microsoft Office and Adobe
  • Experience with scanning documents, PDF, and records management
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment
  • Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work opportunity.
  • Potential salary range: $40,451.13-$57,000.00
  • Potential yearly incentive pay up to 9% of base salary (results may vary from year to year)
