The AVP, Talent Acquisition Manager will lead the Claims recruiting team and will have individual responsibility for full-cycle recruitment for the Legal function. A key area of focus will be developing and executing on recruiting strategies to support the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives of both functions. This is a highly consultative, strategic, and collaborative role and an exciting opportunity to impact the continued diversification of Chubb’s workforce. This role reports to the VP, North America Talent Acquisition.


The Talent Acquisition Manager will manage a small team of recruiters (2-3) and participate as a member of the North America Talent Acquisition leadership team. They will closely partner with key business leaders, HR Business Partners, Culture Office and the North America Talent Acquisition team. A successful candidate will have strong strategic focus, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, place a premium on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) values, be data-driven and detail-oriented, and adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions.

Primary Responsibilities
This role has overall responsibility for the end-to-end recruitment function for assigned functions with an intentional focus on sourcing and attracting diverse talent to Chubb.

  • Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to understand the current and future talent needs; prepare Talent Acquisition team accordingly.
  • Lead and develop the Claims recruiting team, manage resources and effectively balance capacity of Claims recruiting team with broader Talent Acquisition team.
  • Own full life-cycle recruitment for Legal roles as well as senior level Claims roles and other roles as needed based on volumes and capacity of the team.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives to ensure a diverse candidate slate for all open roles.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on generating new recruitment techniques and implementing creative strategies to generate candidate flow and to increase pipeline of quality and diverse talent.
  • Provide strategic recruiting expertise by staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, technological advancements and benchmark comparisons; functions as subject matter expert on all recruitment activities for functional area.
  • Champion the adoption of inclusive hiring practices both within the Talent Acquisition team as well as with hiring managers.
  • Lead the reporting of key recruiting and diversity metrics, identify trends, and communicate learnings to stakeholders.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Chubb in the marketplace, championing the company's brand to build awareness and attract diverse, high performing talent.
  • Actively participate in and/or lead projects and initiatives related to North America Talent Acquisition priorities and plans.
