Job Description: Strategic Marketer, Lead, Deloitte US Regulatory and Legal Support Practice

The Strategic Marketer, Lead, for Deloitte Advisory's US Regulatory and Legal (R&LS) practice serves as a trusted advisor to key business stakeholders focused on selling services to legal and compliance executives within corporate organizations and law firms. This individual collaborates with other functions within the organization to develop and execute innovative, integrated marketing campaigns focused on business priorities to drive growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with rebranding efforts around key market offerings, including updated collateral and web presence to support new messaging and value proposition
  • Partner with the practice leaders, key stakeholders, sales and alliance teams on issue-based campaigns addressing client issues to drive actionable leads
  • Develop and drive fully integrated strategic marketing and communications activities that utilize the full spectrum of traditional and innovative marketing channels such as eminence, collateral, web content, social, public relations, internal communications, events and experiences
  • Engage with Deloitte's internal marketing agency, as well as external vendors, to execute successful and innovations marketing campaigns. Ensure campaigns are delivered on-time and on-budget
  • Develop metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess campaign success at the campaign, activity, and channel levels to course-correct, if needed, and to inform future campaign tactics
  • Work to internally promote eminence and events to ensure maximum results
  • Maintain marketing calendars, metrics, and KPI presentations for leadership. Assist with review process and agreements
  • Update and manage leader social handles (both Twitter and Linked In)
  • Serve as a mentor to marketing interns

Qualifications

Required:
  • 5+ years of related experience in marketing, with a focus on marketing and communications strategy and planning
  • Deep understanding of integrated marketing communications strategies and tactics and how they come together to provide measurable results
  • Team-oriented approach with ability to take initiative, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet stakeholder expectations and deadlines across multiple projects
  • Ability to interact and communicate across a variety of stakeholder groups (technical subject matter experts to business owners), with ability to present complex information in easily understandable format and tailored to the audience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills; flexibility and adaptability
  • Executive presence, professional client service manner
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization with a virtual team, experience in large corporate setting and/or professional services a plus
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related business field
  • Travel up to 10% (while travel of up to 10% is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
