With a strong medicines pipeline our current transformation will not just deliver growth for our business but continue to allow us to bring innovative medicines to patients quickly.<br><br>Job Purpose: <br>The Associate Director, Trade & GPO Account Strategy will serve as the project lead for all US product flowing through a portion of the distribution network for Wholesale or Specialty Distribution responsible for account development. This role will participate in all planning, execution and account management for Wholesale and Specialty Distribution Agreements and GPO pricing contracts for specific third-party distributors for the US Novartis business and lead specific account engagements. This position is responsible for executing US Innovative Medicines wholesaler/distributor contracts for both in line brands and launch products, ensuring national product availability of all US product. <br><br>Your Responsibilities will Include, but are not limited to:<br>• Responsible for complete business ownership of assigned Trade and GPO accounts.<br>• Deliver financial forecasts by ensuring alignment with properly stocked and aligned distribution networks and develop analytics-driven, account specific, contract strategies in line with Product Strategy sales goals and customer needs.<br>• Drive strategic account development integrating deeper and broader with Trade and GPO accounts to gather competitive intelligence and customer insights to better lead contract negotiations with key assigned Accounts.<br>• Leverage analytics to support contract strategies designed to build long-term relationships with assigned ac-counts, based on deep understanding of the organization, structure, business strategy and priorities.<br>• Builds relationships with significant Trade and GPO accounts and stakeholders, including Trade Operations; inter-faces with key customers to understand their needs, perspective, and issues. <br>• In partnership with Trade Operations, ensure financial and data integrity and adequate data flows between the company and distribution / GPO accounts and trade partners and develop and disseminate distribution related modeling, analytics and reporting to ensure accurate information and timeliness.<br>• Develop and implement analytics for all respective accounts to optimize pricing and tactics aligned with organizational priorities.<br><br>This is a US based position. No international relocation will be provided for this position.<br><br>This position can be based remotely anywhere in the U.S. (there may be some restrictions based on legal entity). Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager.
