Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor. This is based out of our Euclid, OH facility.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $77249.97 - $113299.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. What you’ll do:

This position is responsible for the overall supervision of a manufacturing cell. This individual will lead the work cell in achieving production schedule, product quality, product cost, and employee safety goals. This role will also coordinate with all functional and service groups to meet customer requirements, and drive performance to achieve or exceed financial plans and strategic goals. The individual will also be responsible for implementing Lean Manufacturing tools within the cell, while motivating the team to create and maintain a high performance culture.

Essential Functions:

  • Direct High Performance Work Team in achieving all department goals.
  • Direct all personnel to achieve completion of customer requirements
  • Assess High Five Metrics and take appropriate actions to ensure schedule, cost, and quality goals are met
  • Assure that policies, procedures, and other documentation are followed to ensure consistent and compliant manufactured product
  • Provide leadership and commitment in support of continuing improvement of High Five Metrics.
  • Specify job assignments for manufacturing personnel, and monitor performance, to achieve product delivery and cost requirements
  • Coordinate and assist with manufacturing initiatives, participate on teams in order to drive best practices across manufacturing
  • Develop and implement standardized work for all critical processes in the cell


Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of one (1) years of prior manufacturing leadership experience in a machining environment OR a High School Diploma with a minimum of five (5) years prior manufacturing leadership experience in a machining environment.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • No relocation is offered for this position. Only candidates who reside within a 50-mile radius of the Euclid, OH facility will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a unionized environment preferred.
  • Ability to pull and process data.
  • Two (2) years’ experience with close tolerance manufacturing applications preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction; (Six Sigma) concepts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work rotating weekends and support off-shifts as required.
