Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Customer Service Account Manager. This is a Hybrid-Remote (3 days from home each week) role, located at our Beltsville, MD location.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $73312.47 - $107524.96 a year.

What you’ll do:

This position is for a Customer Account Manager that will function as the primary focal point between our customers and the internal Eaton team. The primary goal is to maximize customer satisfaction by ensuring we meet our commitments to the customer.


  • Manage all aspects of the customer relationship and daily interactions. Implement, lead, or support customer action calls, customer visits, complaint resolution, etc.
  • Proactively monitor and communicate customer delivery schedules, portal data to track critical shortages while working closely with the functional teams to expedite urgent customer needs.
  • Within 6 months of training, must be able to review quotes and orders, process return material with promptness and accuracy, clear contested invoices, customer expedites and follow ups and be familiar with Eaton Beltsville part numbers and product lines.
  • Ability to use MFGPRO/C360/DOC Management/Pending report/hold report/track and push quality problems for customer.
  • Support Order Management to ensure accurate and timely order processing, quote submittal, and return material processing. Maintain knowledge and train others to navigate and manage customer websites and web based portals to assure the most efficient processes are deployed to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and manage changes in customer demand to ensure accurate flow down in support of on time delivery and sales, inventory, and operations planning (SIOP) initiatives.
  • Responsible for administrating customer returns
  • Analyze and report on internal/external customer metrics related to on-time delivery and quality; collaborate with customer to ensure data integrity



  • High School Diploma
  • 1+ year of customer service experience
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area (50 miles) of the Beltsville facility will be considered.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • 2+ years work experience in Account Management within aerospace segment
  • 5+ years of customer service experience
  • Supply Chain experience
  • Experience working in an aerospace manufacturing facility


  • Computer literate with competency in Microsoft Office software programs and customer web-based maintenance systems.
  • Ability to work with cross function teams to resolve issues
  • Detail Oriented
  • Good judgment, logic, resourcefulness, and creative abilities.
  • Strong team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Understands the culture of the company as it relates to Continuous Improvement, Problem Solving.
