The number of parenteral, topical, ophthalmic and inhaled projects of our compelling and rich development pipeline. <br><br>The Director PHAD PDU Specialty Ophthalmology is a member of the site leadership team. Acts as team leader of the assigned Formulation and Process Development team Influences, leads and manages all project/network/platform activities and applies scientific/technical expertise and leadership to address complex R&D issues/topics. Supports development function by initiating and leading scientific programs or projects/networks/platforms; coordinating interdisciplinary projects and teams. Develops long term strategies on science and technologies. <br><br>What you'll be doing:<br><br>• Proactively contributes to setting, updating and monitoring of team goals. Translates team goals into daily work. Acts as a role model and energize the team. Drives finding of solutions to achieve respective team goals. <br>• Ensures results are achieved by allocating proper resources, removing obstacles, and helping others envision end results.<br>• Engages in recruitment, development and leading of staff, including goal and objective setting and assessment of performance. <br>• Supports continuous improvement, enabling innovative, competitive, compliant, and consistent delivery on objectives of teams, projects, networks and/or platforms. <br>• Guiding and advising others to work according to appropriate SOP’s, GLP, GMP, OQM, HSE, ISEC and Novartis guidelines. <br>• In close cooperation with the PDU Head, drives the unit long-term strategic plan and its implementation. <br>• Enable development of innovative dosage forms by efficiently and effectively establishing new technologies and developing new platforms key issues and any other critical topics in a timely manner to the appropriate management level and/ or to any other relevant project team member(s). <br>[#video#https://youtu.be/ggbnzRY9z8w{#400,300#}#/video#]
