30!  That’s the number of new molecular entities in our Oncology global clinical pipeline.  <br>We are Novartis, and we are reimagining medicine to transform cancer! <br><br>This is a remote position.<br><br>The Oncology Regional Managing Director is responsible for the following: <br><br>• Leads cross-functional regional customer engagement team for Oncology port-folio (e.g., Sales, Medical, Market Access and PSS functions) in a non-reporting relationship<br>• Build and maintains key business relationships with C & D suite personnel, in partner-ship with other functions.<br>• Develops, orchestrates, & executes the regional commercial customer engagement strategy in support of disease area strategies by deeply understanding the needs of key regional accounts and the local healthcare ecosystem to create a frictionless experience for accounts and to best support patient access and education.<br>• Responsible for Overall Regional Performance driving accountability & aligned commercial resource allocation, acting with integrity<br> Major Accountabilities <br>• Partner with Oncology Portfolio GMs to understand strategy, provide input, and determine what is needed to deliver on that strategy within the region, including appropriate shifting of resources.<br>• Leads team of regional customer engagement account leads (in a reporting relationship) who drive the account specific strategy for the Oncology portfolio<br>• Lead regional sales team (under leadership of Regional Director of sales)<br>• Accountable for the coordination and alignment of the customer engagement strategy at the regional executive team which includes medical, V&A and PSS functions<br>• Define appropriate account level KPIs for regional team to assess performance and drive accountability<br>• Create appropriate transparency across the functions (including medical evidence generation plans, partnerships, contracting) and collaborate with cross-functional leaders of the regional executive team to best deploy resources, without directing activities of the other functions <br>• Shape matrix ways of working within the region and across regions to accelerate decision making and drive collaboration<br>• Engage with key account customers in various settings including in office and appropriate out-of-office settings for legitimate business discussions <br>• Lead or appropriately participate in cross functional meetings with customers, including those that have a medical component<br>• Develop executive-level business relationships with targeted customer accounts that will move the business forward and strengthen Novartis position as a partner of choice<br><br>[#video#{#400,300#}#/video#]
