PSS provides mission critical support to Novartis brands by helping patients prescribed Novartis products with assistance to address any access challenges and get on medications needed to improve their health. <br> <br>The creation of an internal Patient Support Center is a strategic priority for US Innovative Medicines. We have an incredible opportunity to formulate exciting new partnerships to deliver transformative patient services. The PSS team is uniquely positioned to help support our goal of providing appropriate medications to twice as many patients twice as fast. <br> <br>The Associate Director Payer Analyst will support the Reimbursement Specialist team by providing the current payer landscape that impacts the products and patients that we support. The Payer Analyst will independently monitor and analyze payer trends and communicate results with the appropriate internal stake holders. This role collaborates closely with the Reimbursement and Care Navigator leadership team to support patient access. Additional collaboration is expected with others such as analytics, Field Reimbursement, and other account-focused market access partners. <br><br>We are Novartis. <br>Join us and help reimagine medicine! <br><br><i>This position will be located at East Hanover, NJ site and will not have the ability to be located remotely. This position may require up to 20% travel as defined by the business (domestic and/ or international). Please note that this role would not provide relocation assistance/support. </i><br><br><b>What will you be responsible for ? </b> <br>• Responsible for fully understanding payer contracts and payment policies along with possessing strong analytical skills to ensure proper reimbursement/coverage <br>• Independently monitors and analyzes payer trends and delivers monthly payer performance reports <br>• Responsible for development and maintenance of library of information/tools related to documentation guidelines and communicates this information to applicable teams <br>• Leads the effort with payer specific training of new hires and continuing payer specific education of existing Reimbursement Team <br>• Periodically review payer adjudication vs policy to identify gaps in coverage <br>• Develops effective quality control processes to ensure data integrity <br>• Reviews, analyzes and approves agent or field generated payer intelligence <br>• Participates in activities that improve department operations and/or support to the department for quality improvements <br>• Partner with PSS CEC Analytics Lead to create custom analytics relating to any of the above and special projects as requested <br>• Participate in and contributing to the continuous process improvement efforts and standardization of reimbursement processes and methods <br><br>[#video#{#400,300#}#/video#]
