The number of dedicated and inspired professionals in the US Public Affairs function who are empowered to ask new questions and make bold decisions to bring lifesaving medicines and treatments to patients. <br>Come join our curious and unbossed team and make an impact on patient’s lives every day!<br>-----------------------------------------------------------<br><br>Job Purpose:<br><br>Support the US Public Affairs (USPA) team in organizing USPA strategy setting and tracking of KPIs against objectives, developing internal communications and external materials for advocacy use, managing team events and trainings, and serving as department point on technology initiatives and overall budget. <br><br>Major accountabilities, include for you to: <br><br>• Manage USPA’s annual strategic planning process by developing core slides, scheduling meetings, drafting agendas, liaising with commercial teams, and finalizing strategic plan. Create process to hold USPA functions accountable for objectives; lead team retros and capture key learnings and best practices.<br><br>• Maintain repository of USPA job profiles and LT development opportunities. Managed internships and rotations for USPA. <br><br>• Lead development of all USPA communications including engagement with USPA and Global Public Affairs leaders on monthly and quarterly news updates. Includes building and maintaining USPA internal communication materials (ppt, org charts, USPA mailbox).<br><br>• Plan and organize USPA associate events including town halls, annual planning meeting, social events and other USPA touch points.<br><br>• Serve as USPA point of contact with Technology Transformation board to ensure technology support for USPA yammer page, internal and external pages on One Novartis and Novartis US sites. <br><br>• Develop internal education materials and facilitate/deliver training of internal associates on. Ensure all core training presentations are maintained/refreshed in timely manner given rapidly evolving external environment. Collaborate with USPA leaders to identify, develop and deliver quarterly education team trainings for cross-divisional public affairs colleagues. <br><br>• Create repository of key presentations; draw upon existing and develop new slides to create PPT decks for internal and external presentations by USPA LT.<br><br>• Coordinate USPA budget across functional areas, ensuring alignment against strategic plan and interface with Finance.<br><br><br>[#video#https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggbnzRY9z8w{#400,300#}#/video#]<br><br><br>Vaccine Policy (customer-facing roles only): While Novartis does not require vaccination for Covid-19 or proof of a recent negative test result for Covid-19 at this time, employees working in customer-facing roles must adhere to and comply with customers’ (such as hospitals, physician offices, etc.) credentialing guidelines, which may require vaccination.
