The number of dedicated and inspired professionals in the US Public Affairs function who are empowered to ask new questions and make bold decisions to bring lifesaving medicines and treatments to patients. <br>Come join our curious and unbossed team and make an impact on patient’s lives every day!<br><br>------------------------------------------------------------------<br><br>In this role, you will develop government reimbursement strategy for assigned business franchises in collaboration with therapeutic area pipeline teams and product launch teams; identify opportunities to demonstrate Novartis leadership in shaping key policy, regulatory and legislative issues in respect to specific product needs. This includes: <br><br>• Evaluate government reimbursement strategies (Medicare, Medicaid, 340B) for assigned products collaborating with commercial/medical pipeline teams, brand teams, and market access colleagues. Develop reimbursement and coverage strategies for products.<br><br>• Educate and guide launch planning teams on CMS process/requirements for new products. Engage with CMS teams to provide information on future products and guide application process on product requirements (e.g., HCPCS codes).<br><br>• Conduct stakeholder mapping of quality organizations and government agencies and develop comprehensive Novartis quality engagement strategy. Establish and cultivate working relationships with CMS/HHS quality experts and other external quality advisors.<br><br>• Educate internal colleagues on importance of quality metrics and the external quality environment. Identify opportunity for adopting quality policies and establishing new quality measures. Partner with brand teams and market access colleagues to engage health plans and other customers on their quality strategies.<br><br>• Develop educational materials for NAPA colleagues on upcoming launch products and highlight potential public affairs priorities of the franchise portfolio.<br><br>• Collaborate with Federal Government Affairs, State Government Affairs, U.S. Policy State Public Policy, and other internal peers to achieve Novartis business, regulatory and legislative objectives. <br><br><br>[#video#https://youtu.be/ggbnzRY9z8w{#400,300#}#/video#]
